Red Label Limousin pork
The leading region for pork in 1900, the people of Limousin have a recognised know-how for pig raising. That made for the renown of Limousin pork specialities. Here the blood sausage with chestnuts, the potted pork and the salt pork are still celebrated.
The Limousin pork has had its IGP (which certifies its geographic provenance) since 1997 and the Red Label since 1990, labels that give the guarantee of high quality meat.
